October 18, 2007

Open day at Glamorgan UniversityThe University of Glamorgan opens its doors next week, 27th October, for an Open Day packed with activities for prospective students.

A programme of activity is scheduled for the day offering the opportunity to get involved in everything from a Computer Games Development Workshop to a mock Crime Scene Investigation.

Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer Sêra Evans commented, “As well as all of the usual things you would expect to find at a university Open Day, Glamorgan offers potential students the chance to get involved in activities across the University. We want to make this an engaging day on campus which will help people make the right decision about their choice of university.”

The day will also include a demonstration by the University’s popular ‘Lighting and Live Event’ course.

Prospective students will be able to speak to academics about their course choices and see the University’s accommodation and recreational facilities.

The University is offering students non-means tested scholarships of up to £4500 if they choose to study at Glamorgan in 2008.
